CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) is investigating a self-defense claim in relation to a homicide on Dodson Avenue. On June 19, 2025, around 6:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to a person shot call in the 2700 block of Dodson Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located two men with life threatening injuries.
