Suspect of mad chase in Hasselt arrested and released

In the investigation into the crazy chase on Saturday in Hasselt, the police arrested a 33-year-old suspect, but he was allowed to leave after his appearance before the investigating judge. The crazy ride ended with a crash, in which an 83-year-old driver was injured. He has since been released from the hospital.
