Thomas Clay Robinson Jr., has been charged with multiple offenses after driving onto a sidewalk in downtown Wilmington, hitting three pedestrians, a pole and a tree late Thursday night.

WILMINGTON — Three pedestrians were injured Thursday evening after a man drove onto the sidewalk near the Wilmington Convention Center. The incident happened as a Dwight Yoakam concert at nearby Live Oak Pavilion let out. The incident happened just after 11 p.m., according to the Wilmington Police Department. The traffic units responded and noted the incident involved an impaired driver. Source
