- On Monday, ABC announced Three-time Grammy winner Chance the Rapper and Emmy winner Julianne Hough joined Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2026, airing Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 8:00 p.m. EST and streaming next day on Hulu.
- The show's multi-city format will span New York, Chicago and Puerto Rico, while Chance the Rapper hosts the Central Time Zone countdown from Chicago, the first live CT countdown in the franchise.
- Ryan Seacrest will again lead the Times Square broadcast with Rita Ora returning as co-host, while Julianne Hough reunites onscreen with Seacrest and debuts as co-host in Las Vegas alongside Rob Gronkowski.
- Last year's broadcast drew more than 29 million total viewers at midnight, and producers say this year's performer lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.
- The special is produced by Dick Clark Productions, with Ryan Seacrest, Michael Dempsey and Barry Adelman serving as executive producers for Seacrest's 21st year hosting.
