In Morocco, public health became one of the main subjects of the campaign for the 23 September parliamentary elections. Just a year ago, the death of eight women after Caesarean women at the Agadir regional hospital had highlighted the shortcomings of the health system and contributed to the outbreak of the GenZ 212 protest movement. Despite the reforms undertaken, access to care remains a major concern for many Moroccans.
