Cerro Navia: 35 children and two adults poisoned by hydrogen sulfide gas in a school

Two educational establishments, which are less than two kilometers away from each other, had incidents of poisoning their students due to the emission of gas. At the Cerro Navia school, about thirty children were affected, while in the school located in Lo Prado, more than twelve children had symptoms.

They were rushed to health centers. The Metropolitan Health Seremi explained that the compound is generated by organic waste and emanates from sewers.
