Central African Republic: Government welcomes the extradition of rebel leader Armel Sayo, arrested in Cameroon

In the Central African Republic, ten days after the extradition of rebel leader Armel Sayo to Bangui, the government finally reacted. This leader of the armed group of the Military Coalition for the Salvation of the People (CMSRP) had taken up arms in 2024, despite the signing of the peace agreement in 2019. The government welcomed his arrest in January, in Cameroon.
