Santo Domingo, 2 Jul (Prensa Latina) Dominican President Luis Abinader inaugurated today the new headquarters of the Specialized Emergency and Disaster Mitigation Corps (Cemed) of the Ministry of Defense, a work that strengthens the capacity of the State to respond to high-impact situations. The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, inaugurated this Thursday the new headquarters of the Specialized Corps for Mitigation to Emergencies and Disasters (CEMED) of the Ministry of Defense, a project that significantly strengthens the capacity of the Dominican State to prevent, respond and coordinate actions in the face of emergencies, natural disasters and other high-impact situations.
