(7-7-25) Michael Jacob (66) of Celina was arrested yesterday by Celina Police on a 1st degree misdemeanor of theft. He was released the same day from the Mercer County Adult Detention Center. He is awaiting a Celina Municipal Court hearing. In Ohio, theft of property valued under $1,000 is classified as a first-degree misdemeanor, also known as petty theft. This offense can result in a jail sentence of up to 180 days and a fine of up to $1,000
