[80 years since the end of the war] The "Hakubai Tower Hina Day Visit," which is held every year around the time of Hinamatsuri, was held on the 2nd at Hakubai Tower in Itoman City. About 40 people, including bereaved families of the Hakubai student corps, participated. They offered peaches and cherry blossoms, red rice, sweets, and other items to celebrate the "Girls' Festival" for the girls who died in the Battle of Okinawa.
