The Greyson Project began in 2015 in Florida, where Tyson and Heather Heineke, Berthoud-born and raised, then lived. Its efforts honor their firstborn son Greyson, who died as an infant in 2011, having spent his one winter holiday season in the hospital. It does so by annually giving kids holiday décor for their hospital rooms.
