CATHERINE ELMA KOOB, 91, of Anita, died Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Allen Place, in Atlantic. Memorial services for CATHERINE KOOB will be held 11-a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Atlantic. Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic has the arrangements. Catherine Elma (Byrum) Koob, age 91 of Atlantic and a former Anita resident, died on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Allen Place in Atlantic. She was born on April 29, 1934, at her parents’ home east of Adair, IA the daughter of Elmer and Emma (Wedemeyer) Byrum.
