Catastrophe insurance, extension for SMEs

The Council of Ministers has given the green light to the decree that extends, for some categories of companies, the obligation to stipulate insurance contracts to cover damages directly caused by natural disasters and catastrophic events that occurred on the national territory. The April 1 deadline is moved: to October 1, 2025 for medium-sized companies; to January 1, 2026 for small and micro companies.
