DES MOINES, Iowa -- Two people are now facing charges after court records say they left behind their cat, who was later found dead, when they moved out of a Des Moines apartment. Back in August, court records say that Dewey Leroy Moraine, 59, and Nancy Jane Coffey, 55, moved out of their apartment in the 2700 block of SW 23rd Street in Des Moines.
