Cass Co. Finance Director resigns, says it’s unrelated to Trump executive order
FARGO, N.D. – Cass County Finance Director Brandy Madrigga, a Canadian citizen, submitted her resignation in June. President Donald Trump signed an executive order in March banning non-American citizens to oversee federal elections. Madrigga said to Flag Family news her resignation was to “pursue other opportunities” and isn’t related to the president’s order. She’s been with the county since 2021. Madrigga’s last day is set to be July 31.
