- Filing with prejudice, Connie Pillich said prosecutors will not retry Elwood Jones and he will remain free, while announcing plans to create a conviction integrity unit to review evidence.
- Just last week, the Ohio Supreme Court found the appellate court erred and recused Joe Deters from the case, while Jones's attorneys argued the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office `stole over 28 years`.
