The Carthage, Missouri, community is mourning the loss of a high school student. Sophomore Brianna Morris passed away in a car accident late Thursday night. The Missouri state Highway Patrol says she was a passenger in a pickup truck that went off of Fairview Avenue, two miles west of Carthage, and hit a tree.
