Carlsbad Man Faces Five Charges in La Tienda Grocery Store Shooting

Alejandro Rodriguez, 25, was arraigned and scheduled for a Dec. 1 jury trial on five charges stemming from an April shooting at La Tienda in Carlsbad. Police allege he shot Nathan Crittendon with a Glock modified by a conversion device after a fight. Rodriguez faces felony and misdemeanor weapon charges and was arrested nearby shortly afterward.
