INQUIRY - A video mistakenly shot in November 2025 reveals the openly racist and conspiracyist remarks of a brigadier-chief of the municipal police of Carcassonne, close to the RN's order service. Revealed this week by Midi Libre, the case was nevertheless known internally for months.
The town hall of Carcassonne condemns the racist and misogynist statements made by a municipal policeman. It assures that "procedures" will be initiated and that there will be "sanctions".
A conversation recorded in November 2025 by a municipal police officer in Carcassonne became, ten months later, the media affair of the re-entry. The subsequent proximity of the agent to the RN offered the party's opponents an ideal angle, even though it misled the chronology somewhat.
After the revelations of Midi Libre concerning a policeman and RN activist, the executives drew their usual defense. But this counterfire mechanism struggles to convince, while questions about the management of the affair by Mayor Christophe Barthès weaken the story of the "galy sheep"
