Car ramming attack wounds several at Gush Etzion Junction in West Bank, south of Jerusalem
Israeli forces launched a wide search after the attack as medics treated three wounded victims and closed Highway 60 in both directions.
On Sunday, a vehicle-ramming attack at Gush Etzion Junction injured three people, including a 17-year-old girl with serious limb injuries and a 15-year-old girl with facial injuries; all were evacuated to Shaare Tzedek Hospital.
The 30-year-old attacker from Hebron was neutralized by a soldier from the 90th Battalion of the Kfir Brigade; preliminary findings showed he made a U-turn at the junction before striking pedestrians.
Yaron Rosenthal, head of the Gush Etzion Regional Council, arrived at the scene and described it as a "difficult attack," confirming the terrorist attempted to run over a group of boys and girls.
Following the attack, security forces closed Highway 60 in both directions and launched large-scale operations in Hebron to determine whether additional suspects were involved in the ramming.
Three Israelis were injured Sunday evening in a car-ramming attack at the Gush Etzion junction in the southern West Bank, according to Israeli emergency services.
