At the port in Torgau, unknown copper cables have cut and stolen the harbour railway, which means not only a high damage to property, but also problems in rail and road traffic.
In the meantime, damage has gone into the hundreds of thousands – and this is not an isolated case Torgau/Dresden, October 30, 2025. Cable thieves have also repeatedly struck up in the port of Torgau and temporarily paralyzed the port railway. "The material damage caused by the thefts now amounts to an amount in the six-digit range", reports the Saxon inland ports Oberelbe (SBO).
