Despite the government's 2025/2026 savings budget, there will be more money for the federal army. The planned investments in the federal army will be implemented, promised Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner (ÖVP) on Wednesday. The department will not be completely spared any savings – the costs will have to be reduced by more than 160 million euros in the next two years.
