Satisfaction with the housing situation has hardly changed in Austria over the past ten years. The average of housing satisfaction in the previous year was 8.1 on a scale from zero (not at all satisfied) to ten (completely satisfied), as the survey "Living in 2024" presented on Friday by Statistik Austria shows. What is surprising is that rents have recently risen many years above inflation.
