Bugatti Just Unveiled a One-of-a-Kind Mistral Hypercar
The one-off roadster uses porcelain on exterior and interior accents as Bugatti marks the finale of its W16 street-legal models.
- Bugatti's Sur Mesure division revealed the one-off W16 Mistral "Blanc Éternel," a hypercar featuring extensive porcelain detailing crafted in collaboration with German manufacturer KPM.
- The project revives a collaboration first explored 15 years ago with the "L'Or Blanc" Veyron Grand Sport, which debuted on June 30, 2011. That original vehicle established porcelain integration in high-performance design.
- KPM crafted porcelain for exterior badges, gas caps, and interior trim, accounting for a 17 percent size reduction during curing. Hand-painted geometric black lines on the white body define the hypercar's surfaces.
- Powered by Bugatti's 8.0-liter, quad-turbo W16 engine, the roadster produces 1,578 hp and reaches 273 mph. This singular commission serves as the final roadgoing W16 before the Tourbillon arrives.
- Beyond the hypercar, KPM commemorated the partnership with a 1,000-piece line of cups. While pricing remains undisclosed, the base Mistral costs over $5 million, suggesting this custom commission commands substantially higher valuation.
