A Macabre End to a Vacation in Zakopane. "A Woman Lying on the Ground with Multiple Injuries"

It was supposed to be a romantic vacation in the Tatras. It ended in blood and tears, although it could have been much worse. After reporting a quarrel in a guesthouse in Zakopane, the police found a woman lying on the ground in the room with numerous injuries. Her hot-headed partner has been charged with attempted murder. He faces up to life in prison.

A Zakopane court has ruled on a three-month arrest for a tourist from the Silesian province who allegedly attempted to kill his partner during a stay at a popular resort. The woman was taken to hospital with serious head injuries. The perpetrator has already been charged. He faces no less than 10 years in prison, or even life imprisonment.
