Magnus Brunner, the European Union (EU) Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration, stated that the EU is ready to increase its support for Spain regarding the attempt by irregular migrants to cross from the coast of Castillejos in Morocco to Ceuta, a Spanish territory in North Africa.
The European Commission today declared that it was "closely" following the migration crisis in Ceuta, after thousands of people from Morocco had crossed the border illegally, and provided "more support" to the Spanish Government.
