Ostrava - David Bruk became the new head coach of the Extraliga Vítkovice hockey players. He replaced Pavel Trnka, who moved to the role of his assistant. They will also be joined by Vlastimil Wojnar. The club, which finished ninth in the regular part, fell out with Hradec Králové in the preliminary round and did not qualify for last year's semi-final, it said on its website.
