Brownouts to hit Metro Manila, five provinces due to maintenance work

MANILA, Philippines— Some areas in Metro Manila and in five provinces will have brownouts this week due to maintenance work, Meralco said Sunday.In the city of Manila, brownouts will affect portions of Sta. Cruz, Tondo, Sampaloc, and Quiapo between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on July 13, and between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. on July 14.
