Drinking water company De Watergroep will be allowed to produce drinking water from water that contains more residues of a fungicide than is permitted in Europe for three years. The Flemish Minister of Environment and Agriculture is giving permission because otherwise there is a risk of a drinking water shortage, VRT NWS reported on Friday.
