Britain's Got Talent taken off TV tonight in ITV schedule shake-up
Tonight, ITV1 will broadcast France vs England from 7.20pm with an 8.10pm kick-off at Stade de France, ending around 10.50pm, replacing Britain's Got Talent.
ITV executives cited the high‑stakes Six Nations fixture, as a bonus-point win would secure Les Bleus a record eighth crown, prompting schedule changes.
Audience expectations are heightened by the show's established popularity, with Britain's Got Talent viewed 27 billion times online since 2007 and judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and newcomer KSI returning alongside presenters Ant and Dec.
ITV confirmed Britain's Got Talent will return next Saturday, March 21, after being removed from tonight's broadcast, prompting social media users on X to criticise the change.
Looking beyond tonight, the series will air every Saturday night for the next four months, finishing with a live final in May, and producers have a Champions Special planned next year.
