Bridgeport, Connecticut store on brink of bankruptcy after series of break-ins

A family business that has been open for more than a century in Bridgeport is at risk of shutting down for good because of a string of burglaries over a four-month period that have cost the owners thousands of dollars.

"This is no way to run a business," said the owner, who contends he has dished out more than $12,000 in related expenses.
