Brewers say Sunday game still on despite half of parking lots inaccessible to traffic

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WISCONSIN, AUG 10 – Flooding from heavy overnight rain has made half the parking lots inaccessible at American Family Field, but the Brewers-Mets game will continue as planned, officials said.

  • Despite flooding making approximately half of the parking lots inaccessible, the Milwaukee Brewers announced the game will proceed as scheduled at 1:10 p.m. Sunday at American Family Field.
  • Saturday night, Milwaukee received 13 inches of rain that caused flooding, forcing some access roads around American Family Field to close, though the stadium remained unaffected.
  • Fans traveling via I-94 should enter at Mitchell Boulevard, and those on Bluemound Road can use North Story Parkway, while Canal Street and Highway 7 remain inaccessible.
  • Fans unable to attend will receive an account credit, and the Jacob Misiorowski t-shirts for the first 25,000 ticketed fans will still be distributed.
  • At noon, Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger will address the media by the dugout, and a second Jacob Misiorowski t-shirt giveaway will be scheduled for another game.
