City opens cooling station at Donner Center due to excessive heat

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Due to extreme high temperatures this afternoon and Thursday, the city of Columbus has opened a cooling station from 1 to 6 p.m. today and Thursday at Donner Center, 739 22nd St. The cooling station will offer a location for individuals who do not have air conditioning to visit and cool off.
