Was Rooker Robbed? Local Slugger Controversial Inch Short in Home Run Derby

UNITED STATES, JUL 15 – Brent Rooker was eliminated after a tiebreaker based on a 0.08-foot difference in longest home run distance, highlighting MLB's precise measurement rules in the Derby.

Brent Rooker and Cal Raleigh were tied with 17 home runs each, and MLB’s tiebreaker was who hit the longest. Rooker’s longest of 470.53 feet was just short of Raleigh’s longest of 470.61.
