Brazoria County Library Announces Overdue Fine Amnesty Period

In an effort to welcome everyone back and remove barriers to library access, the Brazoria County Library System is launching an Overdue Fine Amnesty Program from May 1 to May 31, 2025. During the month of May, all overdue fines will be waived — no questions asked. Patrons can return late items and have their accounts cleared without penalty, even if items are months (or years) overdue. The amnesty only applies to late fines; patrons will still b…
