Branch County Commissioners approve reducing jail millage rate

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners formally approved a proposal on Tuesday to reduce the millage rate for the Branch County Jail. The action means the jail millage rate will be reduced from 1.2310 to .78 mills starting with the 2026 winter tax bill.
