The Permian boys gymnastics team punched its ticket to state by finishing first in the Region III Championships Saturday at Permian Fieldhouse. The Panthers finished with a combined score of 328.400, finishing ahead of San Angelo Central which took second at 319.800 while Abilene High was third with 275.150. ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - The Permian boys gymnastics team won the Region 3 championship, as they are now headed to state. Also on the boys' side, the Odessa High Bronchos finished in fourth place. On the girls' side, the Bronchos also finished in fourth, and Permian finished in fifth. Watch the video above to see some of the competitions from the Region Three gymnastics competition.
