Boys basketball roundup: Montevideo gets back on track

MONTEVIDEO — The Montevideo boys basketball was coming off a tough night Tuesday where it got handled by a state-ranked opponent. The Thunder Hawks knew they needed a better night Thursday to have a chance against another state-ranked team. They did. Montevideo beat Dawson-Boyd 70-62 before a large crowd at Montevideo High School. The Thunder Hawks are now 22-2 and ranked fourth in Class AA by the Minnesota State Basketball Coaches Association.…
