LOOGOOTEE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is investigating the body of a Washington, Indiana, man recovered from the lake on Saturday. According to the news release, conservation officers were sent to the area around 6:55 p.m. on reports of someone going under and not resurfacing. Divers with the Indiana Conservation Officers eventually recovered the body of 33-year-old Mitchell L. Worland around 9:25 p.m. …
Body of Washington Man Recovered from West Boggs Lake
Indiana Conservation Officers recovered the body of a Washington man from West Boggs Lake in Daviess County on Saturday. Shortly before 7:00 PM, conservation officers were dispatched to the area concerning a person going under water and not resurfacing. Indiana Conservation Officer divers arrived on scene and recovered the body of 33-year-old Mitchell Worland of Washington, about 2 ½ hours later.
