The German carmaker BMW's sports M division has announced that it will launch its first electric sports car in 2027. The model, built on the new Neue Klasse electric car platform, will have as many as four motors - one for each wheel, will feature exceptional dynamic characteristics, and will be versatile for both racing and everyday travel, the manufacturer said in a statement.
