Black Cube is a private intelligence agency based in Tel Aviv, founded in 2010 by former Israeli intelligence officers including Dan Zorello and Avi Yanus. Known as the 'private Mossad', it operates in over 75 countries. It works by creating shell companies, then finding a target, who is contacted by agents under false identities, and then secretly recording the meetings.
According to information from N1, a group of the parliamentary committee for the oversight of intelligence and security services (Knovs) is investigating claims by civil society representatives and Mladina journalist Borut Mekina about the involvement of the Israeli private intelligence agency Black Cube in the Slovenian parliamentary elections at the headquarters of Sova and the General Police Directorate.
