Bird Rock parade goes West for Fourth of July

Bird Rock’s Independence Day parade set off for its 46th edition July 4 along Beaumont Avenue with floats, decorations, food and entertainment celebrating the nation’s 249th anniversary. This year’s parade had a “Wild Wild West” theme organized by committee chairs Jason Hill and Sarah Eve Austin.
