On Tuesday, we reported that the new nuclear power plant project in Dukovany could become state-owned in the Czech Republic. Now the investment has reached another important milestone: the Czech competition authority has rejected an appeal by France's EDF, paving the way for the signing of contracts worth at least 400 billion Czech crowns (about $18 billion) with the South Korean contractor, Reuters reported.
