Billa withdraws from Vorarlberg

From 2024, up to six Billa stores, including employees, will be taken over by Adeg, and three BillaPlus locations will go to Sutterlüty. Three branches with 50 employees are to be closed.

Billa zieht sich aus Vorarlberg zurück. Nachdem REWE im August angekündigt hatte, dass drei BillaPlus-Standorte (Dornbirn, Altach, Rankweil) an die mit REWE kooperierende Bregenzerwälder Lebensmittelkette Sutterlüty gehen, sollen ab 2024 bis zu sechs Billa-Märkte von selbstständigen ADEG-Kaufleuten übernommen werden.
