He kidnaps an 11-year-old boy on the road to college and releases him a few minutes later, he faces five years in prison.

An 11-year-old student was abducted on Tuesday 22 April in Laval, Mayenne, while walking to the college. Quickly released by his kidnapper, the child is safe and sound, but the mystery remains on the streets.

The 28-year-old kidnapper then drove a few minutes before releasing his victim.

A 28-year-old man was placed in pre-trial detention on 26 April 2025 after attempting to kidnap an 11-year-old who was travelling to his college in Laval (Mayenne).
