- The model found 89% of fast food and counter workers at risk, with 62% of retail salespeople, 54% of software developers also vulnerable, while professional robot sales rose to nearly 200,000 units.
- Sanders proposed a policy package that includes a 32-hour workweek, a 'robot tax', worker-elected boards with 45% employee representation, profit-sharing of 20% of stock, and a $17 minimum wage.
- Since 1973, worker output increased 150%, corporate profits surged 370% and real wages fell by about $30 a week, while Amazon, Walmart and UnitedHealth Group cut tens of thousands of jobs.
