Bennettsville Police Chief Retiring After Eight Years
The Bennettsville chief of police announced plans to retire. Kevin Miller has been a steadfast leader of the department for eight years. City manager William Simon Jr. said Miller oversaw countless improvements in public safety and worked tirelessly to protect and serve the residents of Bennettsville. Assistant police Chief Sammy Crosland will serve as acting chief. He has 28 years of law enforcement experience.
