Bend students leave class, march downtown to demand end to gun violence
Students from Bend, Caldera and Summit high schools walked out of class Monday and rallied at Peace Corner in downtown Bend against gun violence. Bend-La Pine Schools says the rally was not district-sponsored and missed classes count as unexcused absences.
