Belleville welcomes delegation from its Twin City

A large delegation from Belleville’s twin city Lahr Germany was officially welcomed by city council Monday. The delegation is led by Oberburgermeister Markus Ibert, 6 council members, and several members of the public. Visitors from Belleville's sister city, Lahr, Germany paid Belleville Council a visit this afternoon during their regular Council meeting. The welcoming ceremony saw close to 30 German guests, including Lahr Mayor, Markus Ibert, where he and Mayor Neil Ellis exchanged gifts.
