Belgian professor Floris Wuyts of the University of Antwerp will collaborate with the American space agency NASA to study the brains of American astronauts. He is already doing this with European and Russian astronauts. At NASA's request, he will also perform brain scans on American astronauts before and after their spaceflight. They hope this will allow them to learn more about the impact of space travel on the brain.
